To be the nodal institution strategically positioned to enable infrastructure projects in Nepal.

A core need was identified towards financing and raising funds for infrastructure projects in Nepal. Though there were many instances of numerous viable infrastructure projects; most of them could not be realized primarily for lack of:

• Necessary equity participation ratios to make financial lenders (local and/or international) comfortable.
• Skills/expertise needed to structure the projects for financial closure.

HIF has already made progress in alleviating some of the above issues in Nepal.
